The Spa & Salon Staff History

The success of Spa & Salon staff, stems from a deep root in the recruitment industry established by the family business, Kidstaff Limited, founded in 1995. Kidstaff was founded when it became apparent there was an unprecedented need for staff in the education and childcare sector that came in the form of flexibility.  

Eve’s mother with a young Eve in tow, brought to life the agency from her kitchen table with just herself, a landline, a paper diary and a passion for people and education. With rigorous interviews, qualification and background checks, only the best candidates were ever employed turning the family business into an industry phenomenon. 

As the business grew, so did the team. Recruiting from within the industry, Kidstaff established team of professional recruiters, fully aware of what was needed from staff in childcare settings, and just as passionate in only recruiting the most talented professionals, the business continued to grow.

In 2016 with an already super successful business and solid team, it was time to look at diversifying. Looking at a profession that could pull through the caring ethos of Kidstaff's industry and realising there was a gap for highly talented, flexible Spa Therapists, Spa & Salon staff was born.  

At this stage Eve had forged a successful career in buying and marketing, however her passion for recruitment pulled her back, and she returned to the family seat to create Spa & Salon staff. Between 2016-2020,  Eve had cultivated not only a hugely admired agency, but also a solid happy team of highly talented and experienced Therapists.

Then came 2020 and Covid hit. As for many, this awful time brought the business to a halt. Eve worked around the clock however, to furlough her team knowing that for some, this was their only form of income. As Covid and lockdown continued, so did furlough. Spa & Salon Staff genuinely care about clients and therapists alike, and this had played a huge part in team retention even through the most difficult time of the agency's history. 

So come the Spring of 2021, here we have the story full circle. Having lost the Spa & Salon Staff office and recruitment team, single handed, with the addition of four month old baby, a laptop and a kitchen table, Spa & Salon staff was re born.

Through sheer hard work, passion, determination, lots of late nights & early mornings, Eve poured her heart and soul in to getting the business back on its feet. With reputation preceding her, it was not long before Spa & Salon staff needed to grow. By a chance meeting, a friendship with Natalie was forged, and she came onboard to start the new Spa & Salon Staff family. For the next year, Eve and Natalie poured everything they had into the business, and it flourished once again! Now to the present day the team has grown once again with the addition of Corina, Chloe and Leanne to the team. Presently Spa & Salon Staff continues to grow and is in a position more solid than before Covid. 

The secret to the success of Spa & Salon Staff?  Recruiting only the most talented and experienced Therapists, thus enabling us to provide our clients with nothing but excellency, reliability and commitment to their business.
